Mint Chocolate Irish Cream Liquor

The children get enough delicious treats around the holidays. Don’t forget about your adult guests! Try this unique treat and knock the socks off your guests, and maybe a their legs from beneath them if they drink too many! It will have your guests bombarding you for a second glass and demanding the recipe–But don’t tell them! It’s our little secret 😉 This special recipe will be the life of the party and  serves as a great substitute for hot chocolate. So, while you all gather around the fire place this holiday season, the children can bring their hot cocoa and the adults their smooth Minty Irish Cream Liqueur.

Ingredients:                                                                     Makes About 4 Cups

14 oz condensed milk (organic)

1 cup of Irish whiskey

2/3 cup of crème de menthe (white not green)

1 cup of organic half & half

2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup or melted semi sweet chocolate

1 teaspoon of instant espresso granules

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Combine in the blender and allow it to mix thoroughly, then pour the mixture into a sealable bottle and store in the fridge for up to a month. Upon serving you can include any toppings you’d like:

  • Peppermint Leaves (Garnish)
  • Whip cream
  • Caramel
  • Cinnamon sticks/Powder
  • Chocolate fudge
  • Roasted Pecans
  • Pumpkin spice Powder
